Enrollment
How users opt in
Creating an account or verifying a phone number does not grant permission to receive recurring text alerts.
-
Create or sign in to an account
Users begin at pavalet.com/register and then open pavalet.com/account/settings.
-
Verify a mobile number
Pavalet sends a one-time code to confirm control of the number. The verification screen states that this step does not opt the user into SMS.
-
Grant separate SMS consent
After verification, the user must actively select a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default and then submit the consent form.
-
Choose alert topics
Only after consent is recorded can the user enable service-request activity or new-message alerts.
Account Settings requires authentication and redirects signed-out users to the login page.

What users see in Account Settings
These read-only examples reproduce the wording and controls in the authenticated enrollment flow. This public page does not collect a phone number or SMS consent.

Notification phone
For US numbers, the +1 country code is optional. For numbers outside the US, include + and the country code. Verification does not opt you into SMS.
