Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, account details, service preferences, and messages you send through Pavalet.
As the platform grows, we may also collect booking details, provider profile information, payment-related records, and basic usage data such as device, browser, and interaction information.
How we use information
We use personal information to operate Pavalet, support account access, respond to requests, improve services, coordinate client and provider experiences, and protect the security of the platform.
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the platform, process transactions, provide support, or comply with legal obligations.
Approximate marketplace location
When you browse services without entering a location or using a saved default, Pavalet may send your internet protocol (IP) address to IPinfo to request an approximate city, region, postal code, and country. We discard coordinates, network ownership details, hostnames, and the provider's raw response.
The suggestion is optional. It does not filter results, set a time zone, become a service address, or save to your account unless you explicitly choose an action. We do not contact IPinfo for private or local addresses, and we do not show a suggestion for anonymous, hosting, anycast, or satellite networks or when a suitable coarse location is unavailable.
Text messaging
If you separately opt in to Pavalet text alerts, we use your verified mobile number and consent records to send the service-request and new-message notifications you select. Message frequency varies based on account activity and your notification settings. Message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell mobile information or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We disclose this information only to messaging providers and carriers as needed to operate the text messaging program, or when required by law.
You may withdraw consent in Account Settings or reply STOP to cancel text alerts. Reply HELP for help. Withdrawing consent does not affect your access to Pavalet services.
See Pavalet Text Alerts for the complete enrollment flow and a public example of the consent screen.
Payments and service providers
Payment information is expected to be processed through a secure payment partner rather than stored directly by Pavalet. Providers and clients may receive relevant information when needed to evaluate, coordinate, or complete a service request.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so clients and providers should keep account credentials private and notify us about suspected unauthorized access.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate business records.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable. You may also opt out of non-essential communications while still receiving transactional or account-related messages.
